We are Carraro India

Our Promoter, Carraro S.p.A., is the parent company of the Carraro Group which designs, manufactures and sells transmission systems (axles, transmissions and drives) mainly for agricultural and construction equipment for offhighway vehicles, in addition to marketing a wide range of gears for diverse sectors, from automotive to trucks to agricultural and construction vehicles. 

Carraro Group presence in India dates back to 1997. Over the years, this presence has grown step by step, in line with the development of a market with considerable potential. 

Today, in the Ranjangaon area, there are two specialized production plants active, respectively, in the production of axles and transmissions for agricultural and earth-moving machines, and in the production of gears and components. 

In the city of Pune there is also an R&D Center, Carraro Technologies India, dedicated to research and design activities for new products. 

As of March 31, 2026, Carraro India and Carraro Technologies India Private Limited had a total of 1,854 employees. All of our employees are based in India.
